What is your creative imagination and can it be improved?
Bob Proctor the master of visualization and speaker about The Law Of Attraction and The Secret highlights the creative imagination as a major factor to attract the things you want into your life.
Your imagination is defined by Napoleon Hill as the head chemistry of the mind. The imagination is literally the workshop wherein are fashioned all plans created by man. The impulse, the DESIRE, is given shape, form, and ACTION through the aid of the imaginative faculty of the mind.
The law of attraction states that if you desire something badly enough and can see it clearly as already having achieved it, then your creative imagination will get to work to make it happen.
However not everybody can make their desires a reality. The question is why not? We all have the capacity to do so yet people don’t practise developing their imagination. In fact the contrary is true we are programmed by biology and our environment to stifle our imagination. We are encouraged to conform and not allow our day dreaming to take over.
It seems a contradiction that when you and I were students most of us were told to get real and stop day dreaming. In fact that was probably the worse possible advice to take on board. It is this part of our programming that stays with us until we learn to imagine again.
History has taught us the power of imagination.
The Wright brothers imagined a day where we would all fly like birds. The air travel we have today is a credit to their imagination.
Thomas Edison and the incandescent light bulb. Where would we be without light in our homes?
More recent times we have seen the power of thinking differently by Steve Jobs and his vision of user friendly apple products that enrich your life.
Without this creative imagination that conjures amazing inventions and thoughts into your head, then the wonder of your world and my would disappear. No longer would there be the opportunity to transmute magical ideas into reality.
The question you must be pondering is how can you use your creative imagination to provide you ideas that can be transmuted into reality. Yes you see it is like a muscle. If your creative imagination lays dormant it withers away but fortunately it can be brought to life again.
If you exercise it will grow and produce amazing pictures in your head that can be painted into reality for all to marvel at.
If you are having difficulty with visualization and using your creative imagination here are some possible solutions
To attract the things you want into your life your mind needs to vibrate at an extremely high rate. If you have had difficulties doing this then it’s probably because you have not been able to mix the emotion and feeling to allow you idea to enter your subconscious mind.
To get your mind vibrating at this rate you need to feel what it would be like to have already achieved your goal or desire. What would that feel like for you? What would it mean for you? What would your life be like?
Bob Proctor reminds us that you need to build repetition into this. You need to somehow replicate this emotion and feeling at least once in the morning and once at night.
Once you manage to do this your vibration level will be in tune with universal intelligence. This is the magic according to Bob Proctor. Once this happens you have at your disposal an amazing force to help you achieve your desire.
He also reminds us that most people just don’t get this aspect of visualizing.
Self talk
A charged up self talk with emotion can allow your mind to vibrate a much higher level. When we talk of vibration we are talking about energy. Once this energy is charged it somehow finds its way to universal intelligence and the magic begins.
How do you charge up your self talk? Repeat it with power and passion 300 to 400 times each day. If you find it is lacking passion then you need to think of your perfect day prior to saying it. This will help you inject power and passion into your self talk so it finds its way to your subconscious mind.
Taking action
Just imagining and visualizing will not deliver your goals and desire. You need to outline a detailed plan that will deliver your goal. Once you have your plan then it’s time to take action. Without action all that visualization and imagination will not deliver the results you were hoping for. It does take work.

Hi Loddy
Once again some great information, my understanding of your topic is getting clearer and clearer, the feeling of being able to be childlike as far as imagination is refreshing and almost feels like permission has been given. I hope others have picked up on this, knowing and learning any info on direction to success is gratefully appreciated! Thank You Loddy.
Thanks Judy for your comment. It is unfortunate that we tend to squash children’s imagination. We have the potential to nurture it and encourage it. Yet for some strange reason our environment and programming from people around us wants to stifle it? At some point in our lives some of us realize the importance of using our imagination to make our lives better. Fortunately it is no too late. Once you make that realization you can begin to build up your imagination again.
I think that taking action is the best solution in this case. We all should work hard to improve our imagination and creative ideas
I do think that people who follow all modern trends and prefer going with the times, can be sure that their imagination is developed) It can be quite clear for everyone
Thank you for your insight Julia. Many people are not encouraged to use their imagination even in our modern times. They are taught to conform and think like everybody else. Sometimes using your imagination and going against standard practice is viewed as something that should not be done. It’s only when the great idea is achieved that everybody else jumps on board for the ride.
To my mind, there are people with well-developed imagination from the very beginning, and without at all. And people who work in some creative sphere of life usually belong to the first category
Thanks for your comment Melissa. It is true some people have well developed imagination because they are encouraged to pursue this ability. The point is we all have the capacity to improve our imaginations and use them to solve problems and therefor enrich our lives.
